Monica Leotta
Monica Leotta has been teaching and practicing meditation for 13 years since she discovered a love of all aspects of yoga in 2009. After becoming a CYT, she went on to earn her Level 1 and Level 2 meditation teaching certificates from the Shambhava School in Eldorado Springs where she is a student of HH Sri Shambhavananda. When she first came to cultivate a meditation practice, Monica was an active singer and used meditation to help calm stage fright and nerves while performing. The breathwork techniques used in both singing and meditation have helped her with calming anxiety and also helped her to tap into her “Tr.uCore”. Monica’s class begins by preparing the mind and body for meditation by using Tr.uCore methods and breathwork, and then moves into a gentle yoga flow followed by guided and silent meditation. Besides teaching yoga, Monica is also a Certified Music Together™ Teacher and works with young children in pre-school settings.
